Course Objective:
This course presents a study of basic anatomy and physiology as it relates to the human body. Students will learn to identify and describe the major anatomical features of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. Identify and describe the functional characteristics of the major tissues of the human body. Identify and describe the physiological processes of the above systems and understand the roles of the organ systems in maintaining homeostasis.
